on Little Cayman
Kayaks and paddle boards are complimentary and available for our guest use. Paddle out to the uninhabited Owen Island, an 11-acre deserted island only 300 meters from the Resort’s shore.
Excellent snorkeling is available from the shores of Little Cayman. The resort is a short bike ride away from both of our marine parks, which offer a healthy, colorful reef abundant with sea life. Point of Sand is located at the far eastern tip of the island, its beautiful sandy white beach and crystal-clear waters make it a very popular snorkeling destination for our guests.
Borrow one of our beach bikes and explore the island on your own (rental cars and scooters are also available on island). The Little Cayman Museum and the Little Cayman National Trust Visitors Centre, located on the Booby Pond Nature Reserve, are well worth a visit. The Little Cayman Research Center offers weekly tours, which are available to our guests.
Our indigenous Sister Islands Rock Iguana (they grow up to 20lbs) has the right of way on the 25-mph road that circumnavigates the island. One never tires from watching the largest population of Red Footed Boobies, as well as a multitude on other birds including the Magnificent Frigate. You can stay busy and entertained all day every day on our piece of tropical Caribbean paradise. If you prefer, our comfortable hammocks are available for you to while away the hours.
